All of these mediums require a deep understanding of color and how it’s successfully reproduced. JDA can help you make that happen! We were one of the founders of the Portland Color Management Users Group. We taught Color management on the college level. We have created over a thousand custom profiles, and most importantly understand how they work and how to get everyone in the process working from the same playbook.

We have been working with digital imaging from before Photoshop existed! It has been our primary daily tool for image manipulation for over 30 years. Whether you need to solve a specific problem, or would like some formal tutoring to up your game, JDA is here to help!

  • Color Correction and Retouching
We have been doing high quality color correction (sometimes called grading) for almost 50 years. At first using mechanical and chemical methods (“Dot Etching”) and then digitally with SciTex mainframe computer systems and then Photoshop. We can even help you with DaVinci Resolve video systems!
